PSRS Tanzania Releases List of Successful Interview Candidates Required to Report to Work – 24 February 2026

The Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS) of Tanzania has officially released a new list of successful interview candidates who are required to report to their assigned workplaces. The announcement, dated 24 February 2026, informs applicants who attended interviews between 25 April 2025 and 14 February 2026 that the final results have now been published.

According to the official notice issued by the Office of the President Public Service Recruitment Secretariat, the list includes candidates who passed the interviews as well as some applicants who were previously in the recruitment database and have now been assigned work stations after positions became available

How to Access the Call for Reporting Letter

PSRS has clarified that all successful candidates must obtain their official call for reporting letters through their Ajira Portal accounts.

Successful applicants are required to:

  • Log in to their Ajira Portal account.
  • Go to the “My Applications” section.
  • Download and print the call for reporting letter.
  • Report to the assigned workplace with the printed letter

Candidates are advised to carefully read the instructions provided in their letters, including the reporting deadline.

Reporting Requirements for Successful Candidates

All candidates whose names appear on the list must report to their assigned employer within the timeframe specified in their appointment letters.

Importantly, candidates must report with their original academic certificates, starting from Form Four level onwards, for verification before being issued an official employment letter

PSRS has emphasized that applicants whose names do not appear in the published list should understand that they were not successful in this round and are encouraged to apply again when new job opportunities are announced

Institutions and Positions Included in the Announcement

The announcement covers multiple institutions and local government authorities across Tanzania. Some of the key institutions mentioned include:

  1. Bodi ya Usajili wa Wataalam wa Mipangomiji (TPRB)
  2. Various District and Municipal Councils including Nzega, Tabora, Bagamoyo, Chalinze, Igunga, Sikonge, Ushetu and others
  3. Office of the Regional Commissioner – Pwani
  4. Muhimbili Orthopaedic Institute (MOI)
  5. Ministry of Minerals

Positions announced include:

  • Economist Grade II
  • Planning Officer II
  • Teacher Grade III C (Physics and Mathematics)
  • Driver Grade II
  • Records Management Assistant Grade II
  • Office Management Secretary Grade II
  • ICT Officer (Programmer)
  • Engineer II (Mining Engineering)
