VETA Kipawa Information and Communication Technology Centre (ICTC) has announced the opening of applications for its 2026 long-term training programmes, inviting qualified applicants to join the March 2026 intake. According to the official announcement, the available programmes for this intake are Data Science, Cyber Security, and Software Engineering, offered at NTA Level 4.
This intake targets applicants who meet the stated entry qualifications and are ready to pursue structured, long-term training in these specialised technology fields.
Courses Offered for March 2026 Intake
For the 2026 academic year, VETA Kipawa ICTC will offer the following long-term programmes at NTA Level 4:
- Data Science
- Cyber Security
- Software Engineering

Entry Requirements
Applicants intending to apply under the March 2026 intake must meet one of the following qualifications:
- Hold a Certificate of Secondary Education (CSEE) with at least one pass.
- Possess a VETA Level III (VC3) certificate in any ICT-related field.
- Have completed secondary education with practical skills in areas such as programming, ICT, electronics, or domestic electrical installation.
These criteria ensure that candidates admitted into the programmes have the necessary background to successfully undertake NTA Level 4 training.
Application Process
Individuals interested in securing a place are required to follow the official application procedure outlined by the college:
1. Application forms are available directly from VETA Kipawa ICTC.
2. A non-refundable application fee of TSh 10,000 must be paid using the government control number system.
3. Applicants must submit the completed application form together with:
- A copy of their relevant academic certificate.
- One recent passport-size photograph with a blue background.
4. All documents must be returned to VETA Kipawa for processing.
Prospective students are advised to ensure that all required documents are properly attached before submission to avoid delays.
Application Deadline
The application period officially closes on February 28, 2026. Application forms will be available starting February 10, 2026, and applicants must submit them before the stated deadline.
Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered, so early application is strongly recommended.
Training Fees
The training fee for the NTA Level 4 programmes is set at:
- TSh 660,000 per year
