The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on 26 December 2025 the official schedule of the Oral Examination for Professional Electrical Engineers (PEE), including the designated examination venues and the corresponding periods for online application through the Licensure Examination and Registration Information System (LERIS).

The announcement is intended to guide qualified applicants who plan to take the PEE Oral Examination in overseas testing locations.

The PRC advised concerned examinees to take note of the examination dates, venues, and application timelines to ensure timely filing and compliance with existing requirements. The schedules below apply only to the Oral Examination for Professional Electrical Engineers and are subject to the conditions set by the Commission.

Schedule of the Oral Examination for Professional Electrical Engineers

The PRC confirmed two examination schedules to be conducted outside the Philippines. Each schedule has a specific venue and a defined LERIS application period.

Doha, Qatar Oral Examination

The Oral Examination for Professional Electrical Engineers in Doha, Qatar, is scheduled to take place from January 22 to January 28, 2026. Applicants intending to take the examination in this venue must complete their online application through LERIS within the prescribed period, which runs from December 22, 2025 to January 15, 2025.

Candidates are advised to observe the application deadline strictly, as late or incomplete submissions may not be accommodated. The PRC emphasized that the LERIS application window is the primary basis for determining eligible examinees for this schedule.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates Oral Examination

For applicants opting to take the Oral Examination in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the PRC scheduled the examination from February 26 to March 4, 2026. The corresponding LERIS application period for this venue is set from January 19 to February 19, 2026.

Applicants must ensure that all required steps in the LERIS system are completed within the stated period. Failure to comply with the application timeline may result in disqualification from the Dubai examination schedule.

Application Fee Adjustment for Previously Paid Applicants

The PRC also issued guidance for applicants who have already paid an initial application fee of P900.00 and intend to take the PEE Oral Examination in either Doha or Dubai. These applicants are required to pay a deficiency amount of P1,300.00.

The payment must be made at the Cashier of the Regional Office where the applicant originally filed the application for examination. The PRC allows payment either personally or through an authorized representative.

Applicants are required to present the following when settling the deficiency:

  • A copy of the PRC Resolution related to the examination schedule
  • The previous official receipt reflecting the initial payment of P900.00

After payment, the official receipts must be attached to the applicant’s examination documents. Alternatively, applicants may submit a printed copy of the official receipts on the day of the Oral Examination.

The PRC reminded all Professional Electrical Engineer applicants to carefully review the announced schedules and application periods before making any arrangements. Only those who complete the LERIS application within the prescribed dates and comply with the payment requirements will be considered for the Oral Examination.
