NACTVET Opens March 2026/2027 Intake Applications – Deadline February 28
The National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET) has officially announced the opening of applications for the March 2026/2027 academic intake, inviting qualified candidates to apply for certificate and diploma programmes across approved institutions in Mainland Tanzania.
According to the council’s admission notice, the application window began on 10 February 2026 and will close on 28 February 2026. The intake covers all courses except health-related programmes, which are not part of this specific admission cycle.

Who Should Apply
NACTVET has directed that the opportunity is open to:
- Secondary education graduates
- Graduates from other colleges who meet entry qualifications
- Applicants seeking admission into certificate (Astashahada) and diploma (Stashahada) programmes
Applicants are required to submit their applications directly to the colleges of their choice rather than through a centralized portal.
The council stated that applicants selected by institutions “will be submitted to NACTVET for verification.”
This verification step ensures admissions meet national technical education standards.
Approved Colleges Only
The council emphasized that the intake applies strictly to institutions that are:
- Registered
- Verified
- Authorized by NACTVET to enroll students
Prospective students have been advised to confirm the registration status of colleges before applying to avoid invalid admission offers.
NACTVET reminded applicants to “ensure they apply only to institutions registered and approved to admit students in the March 2026 intake.”
