2025 NSC Candidates Can Now Collect Their Matric Certificates – Collection Started 10 March 2026
The Department of Basic Education South Africa has announced that 2025 NSC candidates can now collect their matric certificates, following the completion of the November 2025 National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations. The collection process officially started on Tuesday, 10 March 2026, with certificates available at candidates’ respective schools or examination centres.
According to the notice, all learners who wrote the November 2025 National Senior Certificate examinations are now eligible to collect their matric certificates. Candidates are required to visit the school or examination centre where they wrote their exams in order to receive the document.
The matric certificate is an important official record that is commonly required for tertiary education applications, employment opportunities, bursary applications, and other official purposes. Candidates are therefore encouraged to collect their certificates and keep them safe.
Learners from the Class of 2025 are advised to visit their respective schools or examination centres to obtain their certificates, which have been available for collection since 10 March 2026. Candidates are also encouraged to share the notice so that all eligible learners are aware that their certificates are ready for collection.
