MUST Calls Shortlisted Applicants for Interviews on 5-6 March 2026
Mbeya University of Science and Technology (MUST) has officially announced interview dates for shortlisted job applicants, confirming that the selection process will take place from 5 March to 6 March 2026. The announcement, issued by the Office of the Vice Chancellor, informs all applicants who submitted job applications that the interview exercise will be conducted as scheduled, with successful candidates to be assigned to their respective work stations upon completion of the process
The notice serves as a formal call to shortlisted candidates and outlines detailed instructions that every interviewee must strictly follow.

Official Interview Dates and Venue
According to the published schedule, all interviews will be conducted at:
Mbeya University of Science and Technology – Nyerere Hall
The interview sessions are divided into two stages:
- Screening (Usaili wa Mchujo) – 5 March 2026 at 07:00 AM
- Oral Interviews (Mahojiano) – 6 March 2026 at 07:00 AM
The timetable specifies that each cadre has a designated session, with interviews starting at 07:00 AM on both days

Mandatory Requirements for All Shortlisted Applicants
MUST has issued clear instructions to ensure smooth coordination of the interview process. Every shortlisted applicant is required to observe the following:
1. Attendance at the Assigned Date and Time
Candidates must report at the specified venue and time according to their respective cadre schedule
2. Face Mask Requirement
All interviewees must attend the interview wearing a face mask
3. Valid Identification Documents
Each applicant must carry an acceptable identification document. Recognized IDs include:
- National ID
- Voter’s ID
- Employee ID
- Citizenship ID
- Passport
- Driving License
- Introduction letter from Local Government authorities
Academic Certificates: Originals Required
Applicants are required to present original academic certificates, starting from:
- Birth Certificate
- Form IV Certificate
- Form VI Certificate
- Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma
- Bachelor’s Degree and higher qualifications (where applicable)
The university clearly states that the following documents will not be accepted:
- Testimonials
- Provisional Results
- Statement of Results
- Form IV and Form VI result slips
Candidates presenting such documents will not be allowed to proceed with the interview
Professional Registration Requirements
For cadres that require registration with professional boards, applicants must present:
- Original Registration Certificates
- Valid Practicing Licenses
This requirement applies strictly to regulated professional fields.
Special Instructions for Applicants Who Studied Outside Tanzania
Candidates who completed their studies abroad must ensure that their certificates have been verified and approved by the relevant authorities such as:
- TCU
- NACTVET
- NECTA
Additionally, positions that require GPA consideration demand submission of an official GPA computation certificate from TCU
